International Assignments - the easy way

There are few processes in an internationally operating company that require as much support and effort as the assignment of employees to foreign or domestic locations. The challenge for HR managers in this context is to design the assignment process in such a way that both the corporate goal and the expectations of the employee become reality, taking into account all legal requirements, and that the assignment is a success for the company as well as for the assigned person.
Strategically, this sounds very simple, but operationally, there are many hurdles to overcome that can increase the company's risk in terms of costs, liability and compliance. In addition, it is extremely difficult and time-consuming for HR managers to keep track of permanent changes in the laws of individual countries of assignment.
Make the assignment an Employee Experience for you and your employee!

Global Mobility Support:
At home in Eastern Switzerland
- at home in the world

My name is Ranya Lanig ...

...and I'm an expatriate child.

Born in South Africa and raised in Nigeria, I started working in the HR department of a large semiconductor manufacturer in Munich while I was still studying. Soon after I discovered - probably because of my personal experience - my passion for the expatriate business and was responsible of Expats sent from Munich abroad. Finally, I successfully took over the management of the European and Russian team for International Assignments at a multinational automotive parts manufacturing company in Hanover. Due to the different legislations of the various countries throughout Europe and the difficult conditions for Russian assignments, I am familiar with the challenges that can arise when sending employees on assignments. Since 2012 I have been living in Switzerland - in the beautiful Rhine Valley - and in the meantime I know the special needs of SMEs in the region.

There is no standard secondment, because every assignment has its own requirements. However, what each individual assignment has in common is that there are basic risk factors that can cause the assignment to fail. In order to minimise these, a holistic perspective of the assignment process and competent advice on the individual aspects of an assignment are required. We at Global Mobility Support provide you with individual support tailored to your needs.

KUNDENMEINUNGEN
